Divide the group into two teams, with each team getting a bowl of Hershey's kisses chocolates and one set of over-sized mittens or gloves. The groups each form a line, and the first person must run to the bowl, unwrap the chocolate while wearing the over-sized mittens/gloves, and eat it. They then run back to their line, tagging the next person to do the challenge, and so on. The first team to finish the bowl of chocolates wins. Materials: 2 bowls of Hershey kisses (or similar) and 2 sets of large mittens/gloves
Christmas Tree Wrap
Divide your group into teams of four. One member from each team agrees to be a good sport and plays the "human Christmas tree". Each group gets ornaments, paper, and other items for decorating, and has five minutes to decorate to the best of their ability. A judge decides who wins. Materials: Green paper, Paper and real ornaments, scissors and construction paper, tape, etc.
Do You See What I See?
Divide group into pairs. Have each set of two sit back to back and hand one a holiday object (like an ornament), and the other child a piece of paper and something to draw with. The first person describes the object you've given them the best they can, without directly saying what it is. The other attempts to draw what they hear. After a set time has passed, tell everyone to stop and share what they managed to draw. The results are often very funny. Materials: A piece of paper, writing utensil, and holiday object for each pair in your group.
