Simple, with minimal setup and supplies needed! Using masking tape, create a bulls-eye on the floor. Have the group stand behind a line (also created with the tape) and see who can get their ball closest to the bulls-eye. Depending on the age and interest of the group, you can vary the game--create a point system based on varying degrees of closeness to the target, varying the distance away from the target, using different kinds of balls, etc. Materials: masking tape and various balls
Bean in a straw
Place a pile of beans in front of the participant and give them a straw. When a leader says, "go", they must suck the bean into the end of the straw, keep it there as they run a designated (short) distance, and finish by dropping the bean in a bucket. To goal is to successfully do this with 30 beans in under a minute.Take turns and see which member of the group is the fastest. Materials: beans, straw, bucket Word of warning: This game works best with older youth.
Each player holds a spoon in his mouth. Place a hard-boiled egg on the floor, and tell the group that they must stoop down, get the egg on the spoon (without hands), stand, run to the other side of the room, and come back without dropping the egg. This could be done as a relay race between teams, or as a contest to see which individual completes the task in the least amount of time. Materials: hard-boiled egg, spoon
