This year, we are hosting two weekend retreats: one for Jr. High students (grades 6-8) and one for high school students (grades 9-12). Not only are these retreats a way for youth to connect with others from around the diocese, but also a way for us to connect with others from around Province III!
Here's some more info on this year's retreats:
Jr. High Retreat (Grades 6-8): November 7-9, 2014 @ Saint Luke's Church, Germantown
This Province III retreat is specifically designed for youth in grades 6-8. Join us at the Episcopal Mission Center as we become a part of the Germantown community for a weekend. During this retreat, we will look at God's commandments and the kingdom of heaven through the lens of Psalm 78 and Matthew 25:1-13. The weekend will include worship, prayer, and exploring the city of Philadelphia through off-site trips and community building. We'll end the weekend with Sunday morning Eucharist at Saint Luke's Church.
Sr. High Retreat (Grades 9-12): February 27-March 1, 2015 @ NorthBay Adventure
Our Province III Sr. High retreat will once again be at NorthBay Adventure in North East, MD. We will join groups from around the Province for reflection, community building, and adventure. The weekend includes our afternoon of zip lining, ropes courses, a giant swing, rock climbing, and much more! This, along with small group, large group, and worship experiences, will help young people connect to the larger Church and connect to their faith. More details about themes and activities will be released soon!
For more information on these, or any of our other youth events, contact the Youth Ministry office at (215) 844-9410 or send us a note here. We hope you can join us for one of these great weekends!
