To set up this game, draw five concentric circles on the ground with sidewalk chalk. About 20 feet away, draw a straight line on the ground. Give each youth 10 Starburst candies, and instruct them to stand behind the line and throw each piece of candy at the circles, trying to get as close to the center circle as possible. They earn zero points for any candy outside the circles, one point for landing inside the outermost circle, and so on until you reach five points for landing inside the inner circle. After each person has a turn, the player with the most points wins. Materials: Starbursts, chalk
Shave the Balloon
Have three or four youth volunteer at a time. Give each one a balloon covered in shaving cream, along with a razor. The rules are simple--the first one to successfully shave their balloon is the winner. But they can't go too fast, because a single nick will pop the balloon, covering everything within reach in shaving cream. Word of warning: Because this game involves sharp objects, it is best for older groups
Your traditional water balloon toss...with a twist! Instead of one person tossing to another, a pair of people takes hold of the corners of a towel, stretching it between them. They then place the water balloon on their towel, and then work together to toss it onto another pairs' towel! Work to keep the water balloon intact!
